AIRTRONIC D2 - provides both cab comfort and defrost capability for one-person cabs
AIRTRONIC D4 - should be considered fo larger cabs

Engine Preheat Application Guidelines:

The following sizing chart is based on 1-2 hour preheat duration.

 
  • engine preheat - improved startability, supplements engine heating for improved comfort and defrosting capability, reliable cold weather starting
  • no electrical plug-ins
  • cab preheat - provides supplement cabin heat independently from the engine, faster heat recuperation after stops.
